Thread: gone is the thrill of the hunt
i really don't know how to say this, but it's time for me to move on. my life as a ranger was very rewarding i feel, and i am grateful to have been part of such an outstanding community as this forum is represented by.
unfortunately, i no longer derive any satisfaction from killing wild animals. for me, as the title says, 'gone is the thrill of the hunt'. as such, i no longer use my ranger skills, and thereby, there is no reason for me to keep them. i'm going to pursue a pvp template now; tried starting a new char with the sole intention of pvp, but it's just too hard to leave behind all my friends (and supplies
)
i just wanted to say thank you all for, well, being so cool
not many other professions can say they truly have a mature crowd. a quick glance at several other forums is testament to that. nraas, your work has been truly outstanding. bravo for all the effort you have put in and continue to put in. everyone else who sticks it out, i tip my hat to you *^_^*
i wish you the best of luck (^_^) good day
I still find hunting wild animals fun. I belong to a guild with many crafter types who are often looking for animal resources. I enjoy travelling around looking for the best quality resources for them and gathering a good supply for them.

suggestion, start that new charactor on another server. I did it. I have a pvp charactor on Scylla and a Hunter Ranger on Chilastra. It was hard at first but I met some nice peopel and even ended up starting a Hunters Guild.
Now I kill Rebels with my friends when I feel like it, or Hunt with my other friends and run my guild on the other server.
