I'm on Dantoonie trying to grind scouting XP and its taking longer than I thought it would.Don't get me wrong it's easy I just want to speed things along. As of right now I'm killing frienzed grauls because they give about 900 something XP. However the time it takes me to kill them and rest up then search for more, isn't worth the time.

So do you have any suggestionsfor high payoff kills?

If you really want scout xp, then don't solo. I think you get the same amount of xp in a group (possibly slightly less because of group harvesting rules although possibly offset by group xp bonus) but you will be able to kill a lot more stuff in less time. So finding a group to hunt krayts is actually a great way to get scout xp. But don't bother using traps on them. /areatrack can really help find krayts so people are likely to take you along in a group for them. But make sure to find a good group--you do actually need to kill them to harvest and loot.

I deff recommend groups to get XP. Head off to a harder planet, pull a few good missions to get XP and some credits. I try to do it every night My worst problem is sometimes I may out on XP before I acn get back to town and train

get yourself in a good Krayt/rancor hunting group. with my pa's help, I went from 4/2/3/2 to 4/4/4/2 scout in about an hour, maybe less than that. (working on survival 3 atm to get back to ranger.)

I can see here that a lot of people recommend getting in rancor/krayt hunting groups but for someone who doesn't want to spend an entire night resting/etc for a few of them, here's an alternative.

Harvesting - take out the entire narglatch cave. Relatively easy to do when you have a good medic and some backup to help out if you're not high enough to solo the females. In a good run, you'll have over 30 narglatches including guardians, hunters, regular, females, cubs, and the matron. After that, get a ranger to areatrack some fambaas and falumpasets. The fambaas are harder but they're great trapping exp (446 per landed trap), plus good harvesting experience. Falumpasets, when found, allow you and some friends to kill them as fast as they spawn (one night, the group and I did about 20 before trashing the lair). Good harvesting, and trapping, if you need it.

Scouting with /maskscent on - head to Yavin4 and walk around. Lots of aggro mobs there and you'll start stacking the experience on when you maskscent past them. Not too hard to burstrun if you get engaged.
