I saw this mentioned in a rifleman forum, then checked out the Combat Medic forum to make sure it wasn't someone ranting.

Combat Medics can create poisons that are target or area of effect. They can alsobe experimented so they can be thrown from up to 80m. And the poisons work in PvP as well as PvE.

The devs should borrow some code from the combat medics to give us some decent traps. I'm sure my Ranger should be able to throw a lot further than a combat medic. I had to throw a bunch of traps just to get through scout, not to mention ranger.

NRaas, you may want to mention this to GreenMarine so he can borrow the code for us.

Thanks,

We can definitely request the ability.

I would dearly love an AE Snare/Root or AE Tranquilizer Trap that wouldn't break until the mobs affected were hit. If I had this, losing my level 14 pet wouldn't be such a blow.

or even the current ranger traps like flash bomb that say it blinded all nearby enemies would actually blind more than the one it was thrown at when theres a whole mob of them with 10m of each other:0)
