Thorbo wrote:Hi Rangers, i'm only a scout 4-3-4-3 at present, but working on to become a ranger because i want to, not for a holo. But thought this would be my best hope to find out the price. Now with the new patch, just wanted to know what you Rangers are selling the eggs and milk for now. Just love being a scout, can't wait to be a Ranger and join your group. Love this forum, your all so helpful. Things can only get bettter, with a little help from everybody. A big thanks in advance ppl.
That will vary pretty reatly from server to server, but on Naritus Endorian wild milk and eggs are both REALLY high quality at the moment. I did a search for BEs when I got back to Theed and sold my whole haul of both for 15cpu. The great thing about eggs is that you can do a lair search without even getting off your speeder. It's like a drive up grocery store

I see that, like me, you are a Farstar man. Our prices are nothing like those on the older servers. I had collected a few hundred eggs on my travels and went to sell them just out of interest really, I'm no Farmer....!
I ended up giving them away, milk also...! Every one and his wife can get them and prices are silly low for most things on Farstar, there is simply no market for milk and eggs, none that I have found.
Dont consider going Ranger to be an egg and milk collector. Decent quality wooly, well now thats a different story, 10cpu for average Noobian and 20 for the good stuff. Only one or two actually buying, but they will buy all you can harvest.
oh, and NRaas, the eggs i just found out are stackable if they are identical resources in the same resource shift, just drag the eggs on top of the other eggs and they will stack...they just dont auto-stack like hide or bone
another thing to think about is ignoring the OQ of a hide and collecting hide with a really high SR. Then sell that to armorsmiths for layering hide which really boosts the protection on armor.
I collected 20k wooly with 700OQ normally i wouldnt touch the stuff, but the SR was 994 and the armorsmith made me a set of composite with 80% kinetic/ 80% electricity and 65% resists across the board

lol... oops, I just found out yesterday when I accidentally did it. And dont worry, I will do the drinking for both of us now
Hi there ![]()
I'm a newish ranger on farstar too. I have been collecting eggs and milk as I go along on my hunts and was just wondering how big a stack people sell these for. I never seem to get even 100 eggs of the same type so is it worth me trying to sell these or do people only want large quantities? Milk seems fairly easy to get so I assume 1k is the minimum it's worth selling this for? I don't sell hides/bone or meat in less than 1k stacks.
Eggs is not really in demand. Chefs don't have any use for it and Bio Engineers only need it for Entertainer bonus clothing tissue (which most Entertainers don't bother with)
Milk is used for Bio Engineer creature handling clothing tissues. Up to +19 is possible, +15 or +16 in possible. This boosts chance to tame creatures - you get less You have failed to tame the creature messages
Now for Creature Handlers who are not fond of being set upon by families of rancors this is a very cool, very sought after bonus
Still clothes last effectively for ever so there is not exactly a big repeat demand, nor are there all that many CHs these days
Milk is used in Bio Engineer chef tissues which affect Flavour. Flavour is how long the buff lasts for. However the nutrition tissues (how big the buff is) offer bigger % bonus and are generally regarded as better anyway.
You may have heard of people selling +400 for 45 mins Bio Brandy. Unless you see people selling +200 for 1 hour Brandy there is no use for milk in this product
(This may come as people got more sophisticated in PvP - you could take 2 doses of +200 long duration Brandy, wait 45 minutes for you stomach to empty and then take 2 doses of +400 Brandy but I've not heard of anyone being that sophisticated as yet)
