Thread: way to stop a macro?
i was going to make up a compound attack macro button ie /aim; /headshot; /pause 10; etc,... but ive had dancers tell me to wait till thier macro runs out before trading etc....
is there a way to stop it or it a "total comitment" after you hit the button
Yes, there are two ways. First is the obvious relog, but I dont' think that's what you are after. The second is to make the macro recursive. That is refer it back to the hotkey that you have placed it in. For example:
/aim; /headshot; /pause 10;/ui acion toolbarSet 00
Say this macro was in pane 3. To "kill" it, you could simply switch toanother panewhere slot 00 is empty. The macro would still be running, but it would press button 00 in the current pane. So if slot 00 of pane 4 was empty, then there would be nothing for it to press, thereby breaking it. Kind of. hehe Hope this helps
1. type /dump
2. go in a other toolbar for a few seconds...
3. relog
