Thread: Ranger / Rifleman question
I'm not going to have may skill points left at the end of this and really want to keep novice medic and organic chem 1 (for stim B use)
this means me having to drop the Ranged support tree of marksman (or most of it)
has anyone who has taken the same path as I am, noticed a big difference in rifle skill by dropping the ranged support tree?
Thx in advance
I'm currently a master rifleman and ranger 4/3/4/0 and soon to master ranger once I finish up trapping. The way I have built my character was also to include ranged support (which you'll have to drop) and novice medic 2/1/0/0. In the past you needed first aid to stop bleeds as the ticks could lead to incap but since the patch that stopped most DoT attacks to stop at 1 there really isn't much need for it. Also, if you can get buffs before major PvP events and use good food/spice buffs you'll do just fine.
Right now all you need is novice medic to use Stim B's as they require a use of 5 which you get a novice medic. Also, they've moved /diagnose from diagnostics 2 to novice medic. Other than that master rifleman/ranger is a combo that goes hand in hand. With this combo I'm able to last in the wild for long periods of time as long as I don't gain high battle fatigue. Plus being master rifleman I can tackle most high level creatures. Currently I'm farming rancors on Dathomir for hide and bone to make camp kits and traps with. If I'm running with my guild we're able to use the camps as a base of operations plus with rifleman I can pull single agros from 50+ meters away unlike other classes that would angry the whole mob.
