I just got my 4th Holocron and it told me to be a Ranger. Was wondering if yall could give me some tips on ways to get through the class quick. I know that there is no real trick to making camps besides....make em and keep going, but tricks like trapping and great animals to skin for great xp a such, you know things like that. Then again I could be totally wrong, so if yall have any tips or tricks please post. Thanks.

For the most part, you'll have to hit the hard planets of course. Use all your traps on every single creature you attack, you'll end up with several times the xp per that one or two would have used. Mask scent. Camo...really, just the same thing as scout, only aginst more dangerus critters.

When getting survival XP make sure you are heavily damaged and you will hit the cap amount of points for your camp quicker. Getting wacked a few times without cloning nearby would take care of that. At full health I found that getting the cap for pts was like 30 mins but healing it takes more like ten.

For scout xp I found just going to a high lvl planet and getting on my speeder and flying around mask scented near "red" creatures gets xp fast. On Endor I got like 4000 pts just from traveling for 5km to the outpost.

Making traps also gains you a small amount of trapping xp. So, just burn thru those hides and bones quickly and that will help.

I thought it only gave survival XP I dont think it geies trapping Xp too. tho I could be rong.

As far as the trapping Xp goes go to the rancor cave and spam combat defence lowring traps at the rancor in front of the entrance 2k a pop. and for scout Xp go on lots of hunting partys to the geno cave 2k a harvest even tho you really wont be getting any hide/bone/meat sence you only get 1 while harvesting in caves.

I am currently working Ranger for holo... I've been crafting HQ camps with 6 crafting tools. I'm getting 100+ survival xp per crafted camp. I ran out of resources though. i was getting 600+ crafting xp were 6 crafting tools. So, over 25 minutes, i got around 7k survival xp in about 25 minutes. I was getting only 1021 xp per 25 minute cramp session. At this rate i should be done by Sunday night. (I have to go hunt more resources!) Hope this helps. I plan to craft higher level camps when i train later tonight. so xp per camp hopefullly will be higher. I bought a bunch of cheap copper of the bazaar... I did ranger previously with another toon and it took me a couple weeks to camp it out before crafting granted survival xp.
