I noticed something that helped me but actually made me upset.I went to yavin looking for woolamander bone and to endor to finish CoA part 3 a few days ago.I got approx. 20k scouting xp just by riding whereI was going and back while scent masked.This undoubtedly helps me level faster but it still felt wrong to me.I may be alone in this feeling, but it seems like it takes away from the sense of accomplishment I get with a new level if I get it in this way.I would be interested in the communities opinion of drive-by leveling.Thanks.

The only thing that i disagree about it, is that sure, you mask YOUR scent from the creatures.... but you would think that that friggin speeder would scare the crap out of animals..... </shrug> i do wish that i could have done something along those lines when i was working on scout.... but NOOOO mask scent was broken up until halfway through my ranger training.... so by that time i had figured out much better ways of gaining that XP that i needed.
i will admit that i did mask scent, get to that heavy ring of nasites around the research center and run in circles keeping the center the same distance at all times.... but i did 'run' to do that (before vehicles) but it was a little slow...... </shrug> to each there own i guess

Rumor says this is being nerfed, and you will not be able to maskscent while on/in a mount, be it animal or vehicle.
Only fair.
Can you imagine the smell of some of those mounts?

Probably makes sense but does that mean mask scent/ cammo will then be officially useless for travelling in the wilderness, as everyone uses vehicles or mounts?
