I haven't seen it anywhere (granted I don't read these boards top to bottom - who has that kind of time -and- a life?) but do rangers get a success bonus on searching lairs and milking creatures?

Not in the current implementation.
We have requested it though... I'm at a loss as to why the developers never implemented in the first place.

Does harvesting ability affect it?
I happen to pick up many eggs, and sometimes milk when im hunting whatever i run into. Btw- I think there should be scouting xp from milking... it is a bit of a pain to do.

That's what I meant, kind of... the reason I asked was: I noticed with my master ranger I pick up something every time I search a lair. While with a non-scout type on a different server, i hardly ever get anything. It made me wonder.
