Thread: Can someone give me an up-to-date summary of our CU status?

So many threads, so little time, and I haven't had much board time in the past week or two, so I'm behind.
Can someone summarize what our status is within the CU right now? Bullet points are great for those of us with no attention spa--oh, hey, something shiny. ::chases::

Health issue appears to be resolved, per a statement in the recent IRC talk. Ranger/Scout boxes will count towards health.
Right now, due to a bug, survival xp is being changed to scout xp. 3 trees now depend on one type of xp. Dunno if this is permanent or not. I have not read a lot in the CU forum, as they pissed me off. Guess I will now. Maybe. Tomorrow.
WildBIll has compiled some stuff on how XP is figured. I can't explain it, too much math. Go read it.

The survival xp change was listed in the patch notes so it might not be a bug....
Scout and Ranger skills are counting towards your combat level (one of the devs told us in the recent chat). This means it will count towards health, among other things.
The amount of scout xp you get depends on your CL, among other things, so a Novice Scout with no weapon skills won't get as much xp for harvesting their high level friends' kills. It also used to mean that a Master Ranger with no weapon skills would get less xp per harvest than a Master Weapon Profession with just Novice Scout (or something like that--no skills on frogs so we can't test it fully).
Check out the links in the first post of this thread for more specific info (although I'm not sure if everything is in those).

If you are level 1 and you group with a level 30, you only get level 1 xp for things that con white to the group.

Your xp seems to be a combination of level differences and a cap based on your level.
So if your level 2 you might cap at 200-500 xp paired with a level 80 killing level 90 creatures.
If you were level 20 doing the same, you might get 2k / kill or harvest
At level 40, might be 3-4k
At level 50, might be 5k / harvest.
Of course you always get more xp for harvesting above your level and less for harvesting below your level.
So if your level 2 you might cap at 200-500 xp paired with a level 80 killing level 90 creatures.

Ya as level 80 I was geting 2.5k for things with levels in the 50s. Its strange to say the least. It dosn't line up with weapon XP at all.

total scout xp for scout and ranger got major bump. the master ranger box takes 1 mil scout xp

ya I'm playing with being level 80 right now and it is not as simple as I said.
