Im having a problem with area tracking that can be quickly fixed.
Pre-CU creature tracking was effective because creature names reflected their difficulty.
But now its all screwed up. I may find a huurton pup thats lvl 82 or a fierce piket protector thats lvl 31. In fact any creature can be just about any range of levels which is frustrating when tracking for creature harvesting.
Solution: When your tracking window pops up and shows the results, it should also have the CL by the creature's name.
Anyone else think this is a good idea? or am I alone on this one?
thanks

I do think that's a good idea. It should be a skill box in One of the Tracking boxes

Yeal like a "Tracking Combat Level" or something.
This would prevent a lot of wasted time travelling to a group of mobs only to find out that its someones mission.

I think it's a great idea. It would certainly be a perk for us

Without wishing to rain on anyones parade, how can you tell how 'aggressive' or 'tough' a critter is from it's tracks?
"Okay, looks like we had some nuna through here earlier, and these ones here [points at huge biker boot prints] are REALLY aggressive..."
but I know what you mean, yup.

We mentioned something like this back when the CU first came out. I think its a fantastic idea and I'm glad someone is bringing it back up!
I've always felt /areatrack should offer Distance, Direction, and name plus give you the ability to place a waypoint on a creature or even select it for more dynamic tracking options. Adding the CL is extremely important now that we don't need to worry about aggro from Lower level mobs, and is great for hunting parties after XP.

Don't get me started on inconsistencies in this game, boy.

Well, you could argue that the CL is related to the size: "This is one HUGE nuna!"
Or, maybe, you can tell how "soft" the creature's skin was: "Hmm, these tracks seem much better defined than usual. This nuna's skin must be unusually thick."
Or possibly longer claws, etc.

I come from the Frank Sinatra "I've got chunks of guys like you in my stool" school of tracking. Cleary, the size of the poodoo best indicates CL.

Personally, I would like to see the /areatrack have the ability to ingore/filter out any mission-generated lairs/critters. This would eliminate the level 82 huurtons, etc.
