I just finished an order for 200k units of Dant scaley hide(took me a week,solo)and asked the armorsmith if they had ever had an order that large filled before. The answer I got was that they had to tell someone to stop since they were delivering 300-400 units a DAY.

I am working my may up to level 80(Master Pistoleer and 4 boxes from Master Doc)so I can hunt on all planets.

What is the most you have ever harvested in 1 day of any resource,grouped or ungrouped?

Trust me, when I say , the answer determines whether I stay in the game, as creature harvesting is the only niche that keeps me here since it is what I enjoy doing(prior to the CU that is)

In "a day" as in "24 hours," I can harvest 700K - 1 mil units. That would only happen if I were grouped with another Master Ranger,It were a weekend of straight mission runs, taking every mission to be as close to each other as possible, having a very large group to take out each creature in 10 seconds, I made sure that the lair spawned every creature it was going to before we destroyed it, Had max modifier Veghash active for every kill, and a high percentage of the creatures in a lair were "fat and health," and "medium" class.

I grouped for a few hours with about 5 master rangers and got 140k in 2 hours. It went very quickly since we had 5 CL 80's and we all got the M Ranger bonus. I know the next night some of the Rangers went out and got over 500k hunting in a big group

Maybe a 200-300k before I get bored and burned out. That's if I'm with another master ranger or two. 75-100k solo before I need to do something, anything else.

The most I have every done solo has been with the recent spawn of Talus Carnivore Meat. Using veghash and only taking missions with CL 82 Torturs, I can pull in 125K in a day (6 hours straight). With a group of 8, three of them Master Rangers, I've been able to pull in 250K in 1 hour and a half.

The trick is to grab missions with the highest CL that you can find. For toturs, that's CL 82. Use veghas to help your harvest and really work the "tap the lair" concept.

I've notices that tapping while solo has been working like this:

1. Arrive at the mission lair, kill everything that it there.

2. Shoot the lair once and once only, wait for the spawns to start and then start killing until nothing remains.

3. Shoot the lair again and deselect the lair as a target, sit and wait. I've waited around 2 minutes and then it starts to spawn again, not as much as the initial lair spawn or the first tap, but this does get you at least 2 more before you have to knock the lair down to 50%.

4. Shoot the lair until it get to 50% and then kill everything.

5. Chances are that the lair is done at this point, however, I've noticed that I've been able to get 4 or 5 more out of the lair before it dies at this point.

For the most part, hunting in a large group will increase the spawn count. If you follow the above procedure for a large group of 8, you can pull anywhere from 10K to 45K in meat from Torturs.

Of course, if you are hunting insect meat, it's going to take you forever to get 100K, even with a large group.
