If your looking for a certain resource and can't find it thendo the following.

Go here http://www.swgcenter.com/PointSystem/PS_Resources.asp

selectYOUR SERVERandthe PLANET YOU NEED RESOURCES FROMto see whats avaliable.

Check this every day to see what resources are on each planet.

Meat, hides and bones are considered resources.

Check it out.

How reliable is this info? Is it updated throughout the day, or once a day?

I'd hate to use this just to find out my harvesters been sitting there all day doing nothing lol.

Well when you set down your harvestor you then have to select what you want it to harvest and it shows you the % of that item on that spot so you would knowif you were harvesting or not

The ideal way to setyour harvesteris to survey for a certain resource but since I have reached master ranger I have had to give up my survey/artisan skills.

So I ask my Guild members where a certain resource is.

If you don't belong in a guild then find an Artisan and or Surveyor. Hire or trade them so they can find your resource.

Be patient people.

The resources will show up on the bazaar, they might me overpriced in the beginning but will level off as soon and people know there is a market and competition for specific resources.

For advanced planets you might have to look to a fellow ranger that specializes in this stuff.. there are likely to be at least a few on each galaxy with at least a little surveying. They can either send you a Waypoint where they setup their harvester, or you can just buy it from them at a reasonable price. Quality does matter, but its not likely to matter enough that you'll want to pay more than 5cr/unit for even the best stuff. If factories worked right for camo kits, maybe, but I'd go 3cr/unit, maybe more for advanced planet due to travel costs.

The information on swgcenter and other sites (swgcraft.com is probably more popular) is only as reliable and up-to-date as the PLAYERS updating it. But most of the sites have a date posted on the resource so you can know if itsa day old and has life left in it, or 5 days old and likely to disappear. As for the WHERE... well you'd need a surveyor to find you a good location, or you'll have to pay ALOT of money to wild cat it by dropping a harvester, checking the resources IT lists and their concentrations, then moving it (at a cosT) to another location to check... I'd go with a surveyor to find a good place to drop a harvester. 1k for a personal, pulling 2k/units or so daily on a 90%+ concentration. With a medium or heavy flora I could probably supply the needs of an entire galaxy myself pulling 6k units/day of Camo kit resources at a VERY low cost.
