I came into the forums after spending time I shoulda been sleeping playing with the changes. I'm very, very pleased. Had fun with areatrack, conceal, and quite easily cranked out 50k camping, leave 28k till master. Field bases take no polymer now, and half the amount of metal.

But then I come in here and it's like the frickin' Trail of Tears or something. Whiners are usually the loudest in any group, and I don't want any of the people to think they wasted their time programming the Ranger class, so if you like the changes, sound off.

One much happier Ranger here.

Yea, I am pretty happy with the changes. Unfortunately, I have been focusing on getting master rifleman lately, so I have ignored the ranger skills -- and the new experience changes hit me hard. But hey, what are ya gonna do?

So very happy. Doing the happy dance in my chair.

Poop on the whiners, they will be gone soon, to be big bad BHs or Commandos or CHs or some other doofus profession. I love areatrack, I can tell who is in town before I get there. Much easier to see if the evil imps are plotting, saves running too.

The new examine, way kewl, I can see the special attacks and all the other stuff.

Conceal, wow. Low crawled into a red mob, massive firefight, total aggo city, and didn't get touched. And yes, they were aggro to me, I shot a bunch, ran out and came back in concealed, carefully, as a test.

Maskscent, still works ok, gotta be a tad more careful.

Anything I don't like? Yeah, whiners. Take what ya get and be happy, lest the Devs get a case of the evils and nerf us senseless. Lookit the whiners...er... BHs and CHs... and see what happened to them, nerf central for a while.

Smile, it confuses people and makes em wonder what you are up too

I'm happy with what I've seen so far. And although I haven't tried conceal yet (where'd did you guys get the ingredients so fast?), I have NO problem with obtaining them myself or buying them from others. It's not supposed to be easy or simple, folks. If it was, that would truly suck. Because then you'd have every instant gratification leet dood mobbing the profession, giving it a bad name.

Hurray for the patch!

Actually I am pretty pleased. I need to call attention that in my case (server problem?) mask scent and conceal seems bugged, I'm not seeing the results others see. I think there are a few "bumps in the road" but I'm not trading in skill points. Nope, not with tracking (I think they will fix the UI on this. I still use it tho)- I'm here to stay

Those camo kits are pretty salty on resources tho...

...and I think you need to actually add some chem to the FB and HTFB, I don't think just metal hide and bone should make a crafting station

Yep, happy. Gave us some new things, fixed some old. Sure there are some bugs, but it's not the end of the world, by any means. About the only thing negative the changes did to me was that it made me change the way I go about running across the face of the planet. But that's a small adjustment, and worth giving a few weeks to get used to, and see if anything gets tweaked further. All in all, looking forward to fully playing with new tools this weekend.. If I can find some Da** Talusian wild oats..

I haven't scrounged up the materials for conceal kits yet, but mask scent is going well. I haven't had mine break excessively. Last night I spent several minutes maintaining a harvester with high agro/red-to-me mobs all around me and they never even knew I was there. This happened twice. Later on something broke it as I was walking by and I had to run for my pixelated life, but it hasn't been bad at all. And maybe it is irritating to track deeds and signs, but at least we can finally track SOMEthing.... (And, tracking dead things is no big deal... if you were tracking a real critter, you'd have no way of knowing if it had been killed in the interim or not...)

So far I am happy....Thanks devs!

I enjoy the new changes..a few bugs here and there..especially with the effectiveness of the camo kits and maskscent. But when it all gets fixed it will be great.

my mask scent finally works, it worked at the beginning then when they "fixed" it, I never saw any exp from it. now, minutes after logging in walking past a red mob, "BAM" scouting exp spaming my screen, cool it works, havent really checked out all the other options yet, like the new titles too.....
