Thread: Just how was the Camp xp accumulation rates have been increased??? Its been INCREASED if anything!
Yet another area the patch let me down, on top of the missing two handed move cost decrease, the posture down timer, and area track.
The patch notes clearly state "Camp xp accumulation rates have been increased" but if anything its been increased by 50%. Previously I could hit the cap in a high quality camp solo with no wounds in 17 minutes. Now I have to stay in the camp closer to 28 minutes to even top 1k exp.
Am I crazy or does half of what is in the patch notes either is completely not there or is there but is a nerf of some kind?
Well, you are crazy. Just read your post's title.
Just how was "camp xp accumulation rates have been increased"??? It's been INCREASED if anything!
Haven't tested with my scout yet, but I had to post this, your message made me laugh about you complaining it increased, when the patch notes *said* it increased... : )
I've noticed the same though, the camp XP accumulation rate has not increased a bit for me.
Increased....decreased...bah, I'm think that's right.
Yes I realize I've made a fool out of myself with this thread. For some reason I had read "decrease", not increase, back when this was put on test center. It baffles me why they went with an increase, though. Why lower the exp requirements for the skill if you're going to increase the time it takes to accumulate the exp? It makes no sense whatsoever and we're right back where we started: with a skill that makes grinding bofa treats to become a chef like a party in comparison to what how much passive grinding has to be done to advance.
As for fishing, I was good at it before but they seem to have changed theway it works and I haven't seen a *caught* yet, at all. And only rare *bite*'s.
.497 meter fish - 112 xp
.123 meter fish - 53 xp
Bait the hook, equip the pole, cast (use /fish or the 'start fishing' from the radial on the pole.
When you see Nibble, select Tug Up/left/right, and click OK
After the update it should either say Waiting or BITE!
Usually its BITE!, so select Tug Up/Left/Right again and click OK
Next update you either get waighting or CAUGHT SOMETHING!
Yes, its that easy, just do one action after Nibble, one after BITE! and you usually get a fish on.. from there, do nothing and wait for it to reel in, or get away
