There is a new found exploit with camoflauge...

I am not going to ruin it for anyone, as I don't need the XP anymore I could care less...

I should say something so all you guys don't catch up to the rest of us Masters too quickly...lol

If you know about the exploit, just type /yes or something...even if you don't want to blow the whistle.

Master in this game doesn't mean a whole helluva lot. Like any game it means you have spent X hours of repetitive tasks.

One oppertunity to exploit the system, puts a red flag over anyone that has a relationship with the system that had the flaw. That flag is unfortunate, but real and causes a great loss of value.

This thread seems to be without value and more of an attempt to get attention.

/bug it and move on, no need creating a circus.

Post the Exploit so it gets the developers attention.

submitting a bug report will not do it. It needs to be made public.

FUNNY how someone who doesn't agree with a thread and accuses the author of needing attention,

JUST SO HAPPENS to feel compelled to write down their opinions as well so everyone can hear them...

instead of just /ignoring the thread and "moving along"

I posted this to see how many people were aware of it, period, not to create a circus.

If I wanted to create a circus I would have disclosed the exploit.

How in the hell do you guys find exploits anyway? I've been playing hours every day since release and I have yet to discover one exploit. Do you guys *try* to cheat?

And no, I know of no maskscent exploit, please explain so I can /bug it.

exploit schmexploit - the game is full of them. Heck...I'll provide an exploit right now:

Find a nest witha high rate of return [trap/scout/pistol] near a couple of NPC characters of the same faction as yourself or NPC characters who like you a lot and will fight for you if you're in danger. Bait the animal by throwinga trap or 2 and then run towards the npc characters who will then attack the animal. You then sit back and lob traps at the animal. Once the animal is down, you get tons of weapon and harvest exp.

I did this with grondas on corellia - recieved about 180 exp per trap on the normal grondas and 566 per trap on the matriachs. Went from trapping 2 to 4 in a few hours [I had to stop and leave to trian for trapping 3 as the game wouldn't let me gain anymore trapping exp].

Um, that's not an exploit but a use of tactics =P. Of course if it were RL the faction allies would eventually thinkthe person getting chased isa loon and stop helping, but I don't see anything wrong with fighting that way.

I don't know what exploit you're talking about but I think you're talking about the XP that is rolling in like crazy using the kit? I'm getting tons of XP with MaskScent so I assume it's the same with Camo. Just to go Dath,Endor or some advanced planet and you can probably finish the entire WayFarer line in one day. No one really cares since Scout XP is so easy to get and people that are Master Scout or Master Ranger don't need it anymore. I'm out of Skill points so all that XP from Maskscent is worthless.

bring back Maskscent that was 90% effective and giving zero XP! I rather take than Zero XP for maskscent than the Maskscent being broken by yellow mob again.

Is there really any point to this?

I think Flynn is full of it myself.

I've been messing around with mask scent on Dantooine and Endor for thelast few hours. Managed to get about 7k scout xp by just running around red mobs. Tried toggling maskscent... running back and forth over the soft zone line near the outposts. Nothing like an exploit is going on. If I sit near a group of aggro mobs, after about 5 minutes or so, I can get the same scout xp from them again, but I don't think that is an exploit.

Anyway, as the last Ranger in the world that actually needs scout xp, I'm off to wander the dangerous world in search of it.
