I think I finally decided to work towards a Rifleman / Ranger but not sure which skill combo is best.

I would like to start doing some PvP but I also enjoy just PvE as well.

I was thinking Rifleman (4 / 0 / 4 / 4) and Ranger (4 / 4 / 0 / 4)

or should i go for Master Ranger and Rifle (1/ 0 /3/ 2) or (2 / 0 / 3 / 1)

Any thoughts?

i was asking a very similar question last night to a rifleman. i was informed that if you were going to go into rifleman at all, you were best off mastering sniper tree and then as much of the combat xp tree as you could. he said that you just plain need the accuracy mods to be any good.

I'm a ranger (4/2/4/3) and rifleman (4/1/0/2).

First priority in rifleman is the sniper line. The increased accuracy makes a huge difference. The combat xp line gives rifle speed increases which is also very useful. Also, consider taking the fist box in the second skill line. It gives you conceal shot which allows you toshoot without the target attacking you. It takes a while to kill the larger mobs but it's worth it.

I'm planning on going to master in both professions.

Man I keep forgettign I don't need to maintain Master Marksman to be master rifleman.

SO I could go

- master Scount

- master Ranger

- master Rifleman

- (4,1,1,4) in Marksman

OK, that looks like the way to go. heck i never use my carbine or pistol anyway

if you never use pistol or rifle, drop those and pick up novice medic. it definitely comes in handy.

or maybe novice artisan if you want to be come almost completely self-sufficient.
