Can anyone please tell me how conceal works? I have yet to make a kit yet due to my lack of metal, but will it help me solo high level destroy missions?

To break it down Conceal is a better version of Mask Scent that requires a camo kit to use. It will last longer then mask scent and itwon't break as easily so you can sneak past higher level creatures. One thing that makes it stand out from mask scent is the ability to apply a camo kit to a non-ranger/scout player. For example, you can apply a camo kit to a crafter that is going to check his harvesters, but is worried about getting killed by the Mountain Squillls surronding his harvesters.

As far as helping you solo missions, it dosn't give you any bonuses as far as staying concealed to allowa higher chance to dodge attacks, or any better attacking bonuses. The only thing It will allow you to do is get in close without being attacked, but as soon as you fire your first shot, you are revealed and the creatures will know where you are.

And you don't need metal for the camo kits. Only organic resources. If you look in the scematic tab of your datapad, you can click on the camo kits you have and see what is required to make it.

The other difference of a camo kit is that it will conceal you from agro NPC also. Not just animals like mask scent.
