Ranger Archive

while i have not yet mastered ranger yet (36k survival xp in 4 days is all i need...), I have picked up some tips from other rangers and a few i have found useful myself.

1) Always go with a buddy if you need survival xp. Two people in a camp is much mroe fun than sitting there by yourself.
2) Keep a good supply of camo kits for every planet at your house. Run to your house and pick up some kits before going to the planet you are traveling to.
3) The best place to get Scouting xp is either Dantooine or the Squill Caverns on Tatooine. Group up and go kill
4) The best place to get Survival xp is either Anchorhead on Tatooine or in a group on Dantooine.
5) Make sure you have a combat class and not just Ranger. You look like an idoit if your mask scent or camo breaks and you get pwned by a creature.
6) Dont chuck traps at stuff that you cant run from or kill. Soloing Dantooine with nothing but Ranger skills, chucking traps at every voritor you meet is deadly...litterally.
7) Meet other Rangers to help teach you skills. Hunt with them and you will get skills quicker.
8) Harvest hides and bones like mad. Not only do you need them for camps, you can sell em for good cr too.
9) Ranger is a hard grind to the top. Dont expect to master it overnight. Enjoy the road to Ranger, and once you Master it, enjoy it all the more.
10) Last tip. Be nice when you meet people. While this is mostly common sense, it reflects well on the Rnager community if we are all nice to the people we service.
