Not really sure how it works myself, as I have not done it... but ---
Has to do with with trading credits and immediately logging out. Sometimes the creds go to person #2 and person #1 also retains them. Also works sometimes with banks and safety deposit boxes, you dump stuff in, logout immediately and the stuff doubles.
Most, I stress most, of the time, by the time someone lets the world in general know, the dupe bug has been fixed.
Then there is the consequence of dumping the stuff in, logging, coming back and no one has it. Then you see screaming. Tho they deserve it, they whine.

I keep hearing (reading 
) about "duped credits" on all the boards and I am not quite sure I understand the concept. Obviously it is some sort of scam involving credits, but I am not able to disern their exact definition just from reading other people's posts who know what they are. I post this on the Ranger board, beinga ranger myself and knowing that I will not get flamed as a n00b or whatever and that someone will reply politely and informatively because you guys rock.
