I just realized that making cammo kits doesn't contribute to your Wilderness Survival XP the way making traps and camps does.

Shouldn't it?

Are you sure I thought that it did but since I maxed out my wild exp I may not have noticed. Has anyone elese noticed if camo kits do or don't give you wild exp?

They don't provide any experience because they have no complexity...

  • Of course because they have no complexity, they are also created instantly (no countdown on the crafting tool).

This bug is listed in the SotP.

You may not get any crafting experience, or Survival Exp, but you're definitely getting exp from them. Use /conceal on yourself, and you get exp for running past red creatures without being detected. Use /conceal on your friends, you get exp for your friends running past red creatures.

I /conceal'ed my hunting party the other night before heading back to town to log, and while sitting at the ticket collector, I made close to 500xp.... for sitting. You get scout Exp off of these.. just use em on other people to maximize their return.
