Ranger Archive

Starting a new character and cant remember what information you get about a creature (i.e. special attacks, to-hit speed etc)when you examine it at Field BioScience 3, Field BioScience 4 and Master Ranger. Anyone have any info on this?

I don't think there is a difference because I think you see all that there is to see near novice ranger. I could be mistaken because it's been a while since I've been that low in that line (it was my first line to finish). So someone could clarify this.

By the way, for clarification to anyone who might have hesitated to respond because of confusion, the Field Bioscience line that was refered to is now called the Tracking line.

I don't know if they changed it butwhen I came up through tracking I got a little more information as I moved up the line. The special attacks were at two different levels, and I think at master you get damage output, if I can find the info in the forums I will post a link or repost it here.

No you don't get it all at novice ranger. Sorry I don't recall exactly at what point you get what, but at novice ranger I only saw CL, which is now changed to the To Hit bonus, and damage and agro stuff. At like skill 2 I was not seeing all that I see now though. I think ranger addes, the To Hit, Damage, Special attacks, and I think if they are going to DB or not.

Tracking 2 - Special 1
Tracking 3 - Special 2
Tracking 4 - To-Hit
Mastery - Damage
