Thread: When Do You Reasonably See Things Getting Better For Ranger?
Guys,
Expect a lot of stuff for professions coming up in the publish after this one.

"(this publish??? and thanks Nraas)"
Eh? Now what did I do? ![]()
Chef is going in on the next Publish (if everything goes well).
The next publish after that should be Smuggler, as GreenMarine has already started putting out feelers for what the community is looking for.
So we should not expect anything groundbreaking until at least March. ![]()
"Hopefully some of the bugs will get fixed sooner."
Aye, Thunderheart has actually started a list of simple items that could be implemented / fixed between cycles...
I added the following items to the list:
- Request to display the bone resource on the /examine window for creatures
- Request for information regarding what exactly Ferocity actually represents
- Request to list the Health/Action/Mind values on the /examine window
- Issue with not receiving any Wilderness Survival Experience for crafting Camo Kits
- Issue where you accidentally harvest a non-existing resource (hide off a Hermit Spider) by using the command line/harvest hide, and after that you are not allowed to harvest the correct resource.
- Camps are insurable for some reason, and therefore get added into the cost when using Insure All
- Issue with Field Base and High Tech Field Base healing radius not being large enough to contain all the chairs deployed
- Issue with traps not working in Caves. If Experience is the issue, simply don't give us any.
- Request for all traps to have HAM icons, so other group members can see what is currently in effect.
- Several Rangers have noticed that disarming Minefields does not seem to get any easy at Master, does Trapping skill affect the chance of success?
- Request to be able to use /areatrack while mounted
- Apparently we only receive +95 of the Terrain Negotiation skill at the master level.
- Many melee based Rangers have requested that the Creature-to-Hitbonus be applied to melee weapons as well
Never. Ranger is just something players are supposed to grind through on their holo chase, like Image Designer. I am so glad I dumped Master Ranger back in October.
I visit this forum once a month to see the latest incarnations of the same old threads: "When will things get better?", "I've got a great idea for improving Ranger" and that old stalwart "Another Ranger gives up, changes professions". And it's always nice to see that old stand-by "We're not supposed to be powerful, we're a support profession".
See ya next month. Well, maybe not actually. I'm not sure if I have another 30 days of SWG left in me.
