Ranger Archive

I'm trying to plan out the future of my character. Master Ranger is my ultimate goal, but I'd also like to specialize in slicing. I'm also a novice pistoleer suplemented with unarmed IV needed for becoming a novice smuggler. My problem is deciding on between learning Pistol Grips III or Dirty Fighting III? What would be more valuable to me as a Ranger?

well the problem with your template (my opinion) is that while smuggler has some awesome pistol skills....we get no accuracy mods....so you wont hit very much (without dabbling in pistoleer). You also wont have enough skillpoints to be a master smuggler, which means your slicing will be very limited in terms of results as well as a method if income. If i was you I would do Ranger\Pistoleer (if you really like pistols and plan on mastering Ranger), which would allow you to be accurate with a pistol and have access to the DX2 pistol (acid damage) and I would use your ranger skills as a method of income.

Considering thereare only 250 skill points, you will be hard pressed to do it all.

You can triple master (basic, two elites) and still have a few skill points to play with.

I would go with whateveris the most fun. Tho pistoleer gives you dodge and damage mitigation - shameless plug .
