Thread: The Missing Ranger Trap (ok, one of the many)

All of a sudden, I just had a revelation as to what we're really missing in the Ranger trapping line. I'm almost sure I'm not the first to think of this, but...

We have two Area of Effect traps currently in our line. However, I don't use these much, because although they apply helpful status effects, I am never close enough to use it when I'm using a rifle, and if I am, I'm thinking about getting away and into the Rifle's range. So I use Phecnacine Dart. Then I got to thinking, "Why don't we have an Area of Effect trap that slows down multiple targets (or roots them)?" And so, this is my proposal for a common-sense Ranger trap. It's not very elaborate, but necessary none-the-less. You can throw it at the wild pack of animals chasing you and doing a ton of damage to you while you have your rifle up. :-P

This does focus on ranged combat though, so it'd be nice if this wasn't our ONLY new trap. We really need some original and nifty ones too.

Yeah, I have that one in my list of goodies.

It would be quite nice for those quick getaways when the next spawn wave appears and I am unprepared for it.
