I have been travelling on a couple of planets, about 5 of them, now to look for descent herbivore meat.

Could anyone point me in the right direction and maybe help me out a bit with this?

I understand there is something called a shift, when resources shift with eachother. Does this mean that my chance of finding good meat is equal on Dathomir as on Naboo?

I am quite new to ranger, and becomming master, trying to help a fellow medic out.

Of course it depends on what stats you're looking for, but Corellian herbivore meat has OQ 920 and PE 600-something right now. Now if that ain't above average I dunno what is.

But what creatures on corellia makes it worth the time to hunt them for the meat?

I mean hunting small durnis and suchlikes wont give much meat

hmmmm, what I don't know is if resource shifts are different on different servers. Shifts are faster if the resource is harvested to depletion quickly, so since that doesnt happen equally on all servers, perhaps your server has different herb meat then mine. I'm on Chilastra and the herb meat was 920-ish when I played about 5 hours ago.

Im not sure what gives the most herb meat, because I don't hunt for it. I simply tame the baby of a lair for CH XP and kill the rest with another critter for more CH XP and the meat. sharnaffs might be herb meat, I never actually killed one. But a paralope lair spawns about 30 of em, and they die in about one strike krabhu's are about the same, but tend to spawn as nomadic packs.

They are different on different servers.

It has nothing to do with "depletion" of the resource. I have seen completely unhunted resources shifting in 4days and ferverently hunted ones lasting longer than 14days. Its completely and totally random for each resource and is not tied to how much is hunted, what planet its on, or what type of resource it is.

I just came back here to confirm it, because I just harvested more corellian herb meat with 928 OQ. Which makes it pretty useless to ask for good meats on these forums without mentioning the galaxy
