You know I was doing my nitely run thru the forums when I realized something. CALC posted we needed a more direct question and I think that is great ( if they answer it w/out forked tongue). Im not busting anyones chops here Im just stating my observation. So because Im impaitent I start to look at how much JTLS will cost me. 2 and 2 = 4. BINGO.....we have a winner. With the JTLS = $$$$ and professions = no $$$$. I understand better now!!! Its $$$$. They have dumped all thier time into "SPACE TRAVEL" and all the other stuff got put on the back burner.
Will I buy JTLS...YES.
Will I continue to play SWG...YES.
Will I continue to try and help the community .....oh yeah!!
My whole point being....they are keeping the LIONS at bay by throwing us an occasional bone.
Im done now I'll be ok!!!

Money makes the world go 'round and SOE is certainly a big company. IMO big companies are not out to make people happy. They are put to make gobs of money. Keeping people happy ensures the ability to make gobs of money. Guess how mucn money the Rangers contribut to the pot compared to other professions.

Unfortunately very true.
It is also why the Combat Balance is going to be ready very close to JTL. People will be so thrilled to be flying x-wings and TIEs that the changes in the ground game won't hurt as much. It is also one of the few instances where I will forgive such deviousness, because I know were it to be done on its own this game would suffer a signficant loss of the players.
(I am not saying the Balance is going to be bad, just that the changes will be so drastic that a lot of people would walk out without learning the new system. JTL will keep them around long enough to get through the adjustment.)
