Howdy -
Just poking my head in again for some much needed advice...Here's the situation.
I'm Forest Gump, and I never sat down and did the math to realize that I couldn’t go Master Ranger/Master Rifleman and still have enough points to get enough artisan to have a vendor.
Now I have dropped my level III (+1 vendor) to continue upon my Master Rifle path only 2 realize that I CAN’T WORK MY VENDOR ANYMORE!!!
I can’t sell my harvests, or have my hunters drop off their goods so that I can get them, and myself, and my hunters a profit.
Understanding that I recruited my hunters as I was running about in cnet and other places, I would add them to my friends list and let them know when I had a buyer. I bought their product for 1cpu less than I sold it 4, simply because I’d done the homework 2 find the customers. Once they reached Master Ranger, I’d give them my contacts, and we would then hunt together.
This, also, opened up a door for them 2 make money, my customers could double their take on organics, and in turn, I would get new contacts from the Master Rangers that I’d brought up.
So now, I fall upon the feet of the more experienced of U Master Rangers to find my next solution.
Unlock my Force slot and make that character a merchant?
- Screw that, I unlock my force slot, I’m going Jedi…I’ve YET 2 see a Wookie Jedi…lol, and I would have done this months ago but for my orders from customers…
Rent a vendor from an existing Master Merchant?
- Unfortunately, this opens me 2 b “backdoored” by the merchant I’m renting from. Essentially this could (over time) reveal my complete list of hunters. Not only that what recourse do I have if the Merchant decides to take the product?

It would take me a year too sell 1mil units of kicks ass Herb meat on the bazzar…pre CU! Forum auction, sure. But where do my hunters drop off then?
Solutions? Ideas?
Any help would be GREAT!

I would recommend that you get some sort of deal going with a reputable master merchant on your server. Use the trade forums to get you started. Find someone who seems trust worthy. Offer them either a precentage profit or a monthly/weekly fee. This would be a fine thing except it adds more work to their playtime. Best thing to do is unlock or get a 2nd account. Those being the only choices you have if you dont want to drop any skills and continue onto Master Ranger/Combat profession.
All else fails stockpile your hides, meats and bone. Set up a large auction once every 2 weeks. One of the Rangers here has set up a Ranger store like you are doing. He may have better advice than I.
GL on that

Well to unlock another toon you need to hit Padwan, so that's 24 SP right there and in a few weeks you will only have 4 SP after Master Rifleman/Master Ranger. So don't even bother your head about that.
I have someone selling my stuff for me but I trust him to the end of the galaxy. We are so mixed up in each others business that for one of us to screw the other would be to screw our selves.
I met him when he was a noob and bank rolled his crafting grind.
That's how I got around it. Granted the good stuff just gets sold on the trade forums. I do add other peoples stuff to that from time to time.

I ended up cutting my Ranger boxes back, after all, Ranger is a lifestyle, etc etc, I'd already got the badge, yada yada, and the SP were more 'use' to me in nocive medic and a line of artisan than giving me traps that, well, don't.
PostCU, ie, in a few weeks, I'll be rejigging a bit more and novice medic will be going. Might pick up more of ranger again, but we'll see.

Hey all -
Sorry for the delay in responding, I've been away from my PC. As always, I knew I could count on Y'all. Thanx 4 the input.
WildBil, I'm also on Wanderhome. I'll add U 2 my friends list, and get in touch ingame. I use the same nic in game.
