Now, that everything has calmed down regarding the health bonus I wonder about the changes they are making to Ranger xp wise and how they will affect things in the future.

First off, xp requirements: With the new experience requirements of Ranger they have tweaked the amount of xp that you get while harvesting. Its significantly higher with the CU adjustments. So, what does this mean for FS guys trading in xp? With an 8-1 conversion ratio it is a good thing. Too good. I wonder if they are going to change that total and if so to what? Any one have any ideas as to what would be a good conversion rate? Say 15-1? I daresay I dont think that a 30-1 ratio would be fair but I can deal with it if I have to. I think if thats the case the trapping xp conversion rate needs to be lowered to match combat xp conversion of 10-1.

Oh, and since were now "combat" oriented can we get Scout xp to count as a trade in for the combat profession for FS characters? Just have it for both. We can use Scout xp for the Enhanced Reflexes or Combat Prowess. I think that would be a good change.

Also, with maskscent(camo broken ) giving scouting xp last time I joined to TC it was still giving old xp gains from being maskscented near aggro's and you had to be considerably near the mob to get it to work. Is there any word on getting that tweaked in both amount of xp gained and distance to the mob before it kicks in. On live its like 45-60m sometimes before the maskscent works or gets broken. Any word on them tweaking this before the release of the CU?

With the loss of Survival xp I think that camps should give more scouting xp with each camp ground out and used. A maxed HTFB wont give near as much xp as just harvesting 1 level 40 creature. This needs to be addresssed as well.

I havent tested yet but can anyone verify that trapping now gives off more xp? With the large amounts of xp needed to just level I wonder if they have tweaked the numbers as yet? The FS coversion rate is at 25-1. Seems pretty steep considering that combat specials can institue the same stats a bit quicker. This needs to drop to a lower rate I think.

This is just the things that come to mind regarding Ranger in the CU and what changes they have made.

All this while I heal in a camp from trying to /concealshot a Blacksun Henchman... heh. He's mean. :/

You got camo to work on TC? Nice work! I dare ask, how did you do it?

No, thats a oopsy on my part. I hardly use camo but do use maskscent alot. Basically the same thing in the long run so I am just used to typing maskscent/camo. I forgot that camo was broken on the CU.
