im gonna post this bit by bit to get feedback and possably change any ideas (or add some). Most changes are made to make ranger unuaually effective in pvcreature as compared to a PCC (pure combat char.), Nearly as effective asa PCC inPvNPC, and annoying as (you know what) in PVP. it also allows us to supplementother players in PVP.
Ok........ so i wan't to get sometermsout of the way before the rest of it, as they are for other professions. (they are used in base raids)
false alarm- (granted at novice smuggler) this ability causes a player base to give off a false signal that it is under attack by an enemy faction. This can be countered by a smuggler of equal or higher level.
haywire- (granted at smuggler sliceing 3) This ability shorts out the manual control systems ofa base turretfrom within the turretprevents players from "manning" the turrets at the said base. This can be countered by a smuggler of equal or higher level.
Targeting computer virus- (granted at Master smuggler) This is an advanced version of the haywire command that not only keeps players from manning the turret, but alsocauses the friendly/foe system to quite litterally switch forceing the turret to attack friendly players instead of enemies. This can be countered by a smuggler of equal level.
Place D.E.T. Pack-(granted at novice commando) This ability allows a commando to place Various versions of D.E.T. packs (basic, advanced, and deadly)at the base of a turret causeing damage to the turret with either a timer or a trigger device. These devices can be disabled by a commando of equal or higher level depending on the device.

Basic D.E.T. Packs-(granted atnovice commando)moderate sized charges that are placed inside the houseing of a turret or other mechanised device, causes moderate damage. These can only be set of by timer.
Advanced D.E.T. Pack- (granted at grenades3 "can't think of theskill tree's real name atm" )Larger yeald charge that causes significant damage. These can only be set off by timer
Deadly D.E.T. Pack- (granted at master commando) A high yeald device that causes massive damage to the turret and any mob or player within a set radius. These devices can be set off by timer or by remote.
Mine control- (granted as master commando) similar to the targeting computer virus this switches the allignment of an enemey mine field.
Ok These DO go with rangers though are not made by us (WS)
Trap mine components- these are a sub component to a npc/player ground trap that allows us to craft these particular items to be placed in mine fields.
Anti-humanoid Trap components- subcomponetnts that allow a ranger to trap npc's/players with ground orthrown traps (or from those fired from a trap droid)

I have never been anything but a Scout/Ranger/Pistoleer/Marksman/Medic (baby Artisan/CH for like a half hour/Unarmed for a day)
I don't think I am qualified to comment on stuff outside the profession.

yea but what ive put up sofar is just some abilities that will eventually tie back into ranger (camo/steath) Though....... 99.99% will be ranger related. (puting up massive upgrades to trapping and camo mostly)
