Ranger Archive

Does anyone know if there is a plan on changing the creature to hit bonusto include Melee attacks? This is just a reflection of where/how a Scout/Ranger knows the best way to attack a creature with a particular wepon isn't it? By the time I'm finished I May not have any ranged attacks and I am wondering if this bonus may still benefit me in the future. If not and someone knows why I would appreciate the info.
