I have always thought this wasn't JUST a game 
. It most definatley mirrors RL, despite what people think. You have the grinders doing anyhting to get ahead. You most definately have the 'rich get richer' thing going on. People form their cliques and generally stay with them. There are, of course, exceptions, but there are exceptions IRL, too
