Hi guys...

im just a master scout trying to level ranger... but trapping is hard

i tryed a lot of mobs but i seem to waist a lot of traps and the xp are not the highest, for sure... i heard about the mountain sevorrt in tat, that gives around 500 xp and can be hit by the glow juice trap... and as the trap can be used one time after another, the xp is good... but..

Do you know which is the best mob to hunt to level trapping xp? which trap do you use to get the max amount of xp and success?

I'm 1044 ranger right now.. I got the trapping line done first and was amazed at how quickly it went. For the most part i just had a toolbar set up with each of the traps i could make and got into a solo group, took naff missions and stood there lobbing each trap at the naffs. Rancors are probably best - i did do a bit of trapping IV on them - but naffs are easy and you can stand there getting attacked but just lobbing traps without getting into any bother. Often i'd throw each trap once then repeat one more time on the same naff as they usually all worked the 2nd time as well. You can get a lot of xp when you do this on bulls.

Just keep your traps stocked up and you should be able to do the whole line very quickly.

5 or 6 crates of wire mesh traps, thrown on the same critter (rancor) and a master ranger at your side to train you... you can get it done in 1 hour.
