How many took this branch and have you noticed any difference at the Master Ranger level? Am I mistaken by believing we are already capped?
I personally havent noticed any difference. Was it a waste?

Most of them (camping, terrain neg., creatureknowledge) are worthless. Some (tapping, camo, harvesting) are still a little tiny bituseful

Well, skills are capped at 125. Although if you're already a master ranger, + mods to things like camping won't do anything.
Honestly, I think it was aimed mostly at people who wanted to enhance some scout skills (or even ranger), but not those that have mastered Ranger. If you're a scout, you can get some use out taking that line. Otherwise it's best spent on something else -- preferably the combat mods. I chose vehicluar control... /shrug

Not true. Only defense skills (like dodge, melee defense, ranged defense, block, counterattack) are capped at 125. I currently get 14 experimentation points on camo (meaning that +115/+140 camo does work for a bothan). Clothing bonuses are capped at +25, though. So +150/+9999999 would be exactly the same as +150/+175. And Squad Leader bonuses do let you go over the defense caps

Interesting. I thought all mods were capped at 125. Thanks for the clarification. Shame about the clothes cap though.

Only a bit of a shame--can you imagine the 25 point crafters? Or the Novice Ranger with over 200 camo?

I have it opened. But do not plan on getting any of it done UNLESS I decide to drop Master and traping to get the 6 Jedi trees. That is the only thing that would make getting the Survival tree make sense as it would replace some of what you lose by dropping Master box.

I opened mine, more from error than by design.
It's pretty much useless.
And, unless I want to drop Medic (uh...no way Jose), the only way I can open my jed-eye slot to be a paddywan is to drop master and prolly trapping and camping.
Sorta dumb IMHO. I like how pilot costs nothing and lets you become a master there, tho the points are astronomical. WIsh FS was the same. Tho if I get enough points for Luck II I am dropping Survival I.

I'm a master ranger with +5 to camping, foraging, trapping, maskscent and terrain negotiation.
I'm quite sure camping and foraging are currently useless, and haven't noticed any crawl speed difference. Maskscent it's just too hard to tell and on my main hunting ground of Dathomir I almost exclusively use Camo kits. Trapping I'd like to believe does make a difference and I use Phecnacine darts a lot, but again, I really can't tell a difference.
