Thread: Weird Tracking

Maybe it's Halloween, but, am up in the Krayt graveyard, hunting for herb meat and tracking dragons.
Working a line to the south of the canyon, I pick up the following on 'area:
Passenger shuttle 480m NE
Now, that's taking it pretty close to the edge of the map and, from where I am the nearest shuttle is 1500m S. So I drop a waypoint, and take off at a sprint, 480m NE. Nothing there, just some Spice Fiends.
Head back to the waypoint, yep, 450m NE, there's that shuttle. So, I run back up there, same group of Spice Fiends where the shuttle should be.
I dunno how they were doing it, but THAT'S the kind of cammo I want!

Maybe it is a bug with the random transport shuttles that drop STs? They might not get cleared off the tracking list properly.

Maybe... or...cloaking device. Never know what those imps are up to these days.... lol jk.

Its the crackdown shuttles. On rare occassions they can get stuck in existance until a server restart. If you can get close enough, you can actually do a /target and you'll target them sitting way up in the air. Sometimes if you squint just right you can see them up there too....and now I'm sounding like the old wizzened Ranger thats been out in the wilds too long lol

Well, I don't mind whether it IS the Crackdown Shuttles, or if you've been catching too many exhaust fumes from all these ****ed harvesters that are stinking the place up, but as an explanation, that's good enough for me.
