I feel kind of silly asking this, but I made my first camo kit today and have no clue how to use it. When I pull up the radial menu over it, the only 2 options it gives me are examine and destroy. When I double click, it only lets me examine. Tried giving it to a friend and he couldn't use it either. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Im going to guess that since you didnt know that heres a fun tip. Click on someone else and type /conceal and you will conceal them to. Its nice for those who dont have scout or need a bit of a boost over low end mask scent.

*disclaimer - does not work with kreetles CL1/2 NPC's or creatures that dont have noses

I usually just mask scent, but those darn rancors smell me from 100m out even with my +112 to mask scent. Guess my ranger needs a shower. But I'm impressed with how well those camo kits work. I'll definitely keep several on me in the future.

Rancors find you? Wow! I play tag with Rancors and never get found out.

Rasps and Kreetles on the other hand - forget it, they see/hear/smell/sense me coming into their grid square.

See if you can sneak up on Kreetles. Maybe your maskscent numbers are reversed?

BTW, camo only works slightly better and it does take resources. I usually reserve it for my non-scout friends.

one nice thing about cammo kits i've found, is that anyone with the conceal ability can use ANY cammo kit. you just cant make them.

i only have ranger 1-0-4-0, but i've bought some endor cammo kits off the bazaar before. i buy them, and apply them to my CH/BE friend so that she can have a slightly better protection from the Mereks when she's grabbing DNA off of them.
