Give it awhile... everyone is trying to do it at the same time probably. In an hour or two, definitely by tomorrow, it'll be working fine I figure.

d'oh....I signed up for the beta before I read that the alpha is gonna be corrs and 5 people from each proffession. Oh well, if Calc fires me from the alpha, at least I have a backup plan.

Well i'm excited that we have some indication that things are in motion, but as I expected.. I can't sign up for beta because i'm just under 3 months off 18.. 
Meh.
Also, from TH: "All the combat professions will be involved and this will be a great thing for those professions, but for Squad Leaders, Smugglers, [b]Rangers[/b], ETC, your revamps are still going to happen."
I don't know why this is so significant to me.. perhaps I just never thought of a ranger revamp seriously because it would be so far off, but this is nice to hear.

generally I never trust a cold-blooded humanoid who doesn't have the sense to wear boots....but yeah, I trust ya, Calc. I've always trusted you to a certain degree. But at this point, I'm excited. I know you were excited after the corr. summit and dammit it's contagious.

So, the CU beta will be 'after the holidays', after which we'll see the CU and then and only then they'll get back to things like storylines, content and oh, profession upgrades... (nice to see ours among the three that TH kept referring too I guess)
And the suggestion as to what we do while we wait for all this? "JtL looks good"
I'll agree it looks pretty, but I still can't figure how to harvest hides off those damned ships and, try as I might, I've still not milked an icthorian.

I honestly cant wait for this, under the inevitable ranger revamp its the number 1 thing thats kept me paying and playing for so long, the idea of the devs changing the game so drastically for the better just because we want it rocks.
I also love the little impressions the rangers and more importantly the corrs are adding to debates about rangers and their revamps
It seams like little hints here and there, references and subtle suggestions seemed to have worked in our favour now and we are even being mentioned in dev posts 
Sooooo cool hehe. The ranger revamp is on, no time frame but im ok with that because my confidense in the devs has increased 10 fold after the jtl feedback and communication.
