I have come to 4444 Ranger, and I could, in theory, drop a few rifle boxes and get Master Ranegr through respeccing. We all know it is easier to group at the Dantooine MOP and blast the heck out of every mission than to try and keep up with the fighters and harvest, so I am kind of at a point where I WANT to respec, but dont know if I am going to regret it later. i already respecced two of my tier four boxes- one, tracking, was because my bounty hunter guildee needed help tracking a mark, and the other, trapping, was because I was tired of sitting in camps for hourswhile laggily crafting traps, just to use them in thirty minutes of fighting. So... I want the opinion of my fellow rangers.

I wouldn't advise it. You see, scout xp is now much easier to get than rifle xp. This is because rifle xp is now relative to YOUR level (i.e. if it's a few levels below you, you won't get any xp no matter what your level actually is). However, scout xp is still only based on the combat level of the creature so your level doesn't make any difference. This means you can go out and hunt anything and still get decent scout xp at the end of it. Just go to somewhere like the squill cave where there's a load of level 20s (you're level 60, right?) and you should cap your scout xp in no time
.

After the CU went live and before the experience multiplier was put in game, I got 750K scout exp in one 3 hour guild hunt.
So I would agree with Hebi, do it the proper way.

Indeed...I have 4xxx in scout and I think I capped my scout xp at 75k in 1 lair and a half and I didn't even harvest every bol that dropped.
