Thread: Regen with Ranger Camps? I think not
What exactly does minor regeneration mean in the High Quality or Tech (cannot recall name) camps that rangers get at Novice Ranger? If anything, it seems that the wounds on a character heal at a slightly slower rate than with a Basic Camp kit.
Anyone else noticing this?

That's a good question, I will have to bust out my stopwatch and test it
It's hard to know what exactly .85 and .95 bonus actually *mean* ... or if it's even working -- which wouldn't suprise me given the track record of Ranger skills right now ![]()
From what I hear it is the % of difference between the camp and a hospital. So .65 = 65% of a hospital, .85 = 85% etc. Since the healing rate is so slow in a hospital I have never tested it. But I also believe it applies to how efffective wound healing is in camps. But on the other hand my field base kit looks cool =)
One other point to add to this is that if your camp is up for less than about 5 minutes there is no healing done at all. It looks to be working on a sliding scale peaking out at about 20 minutes. However, for the most part you have maxed the exp reward at somewhere are around 18 - 19 minutes. For a Scout camp that max time is around 15 minutes. Also note that with ranger camps - More people must frequent them AND more activities, such as surveying and healing must take place in order to get more exp. Simply sitting for 15 minutes like in scout camps works very poorly with ranger camps. Also, creatures around the camp seem to give more exp than a camp which is off on its own lonely area.
I am currently attempting to track activities to post how to max out this survival exp, which is taking a long time due to the conditions of establishing baseline camp exp returns.
