In the late 70's and early 80's I trapped in alittle town called Bourg Louisiana. I had two cousins and myself doing this. We had crawfish nets, trout lines, and steel traps. Now the crawfish nets would never work on anyone. But the trout lines and steel traps would work on any man. If you can imagine a (talking to people who don't know a trout line) string about 30 feet long. And every 2 foot a string coming down with a BIG hook at the end of it, about 15 of these for 30 foot. You get tangled in this, your very hurt, not dead, but hurt, and your not going anywhere (I have heard of people getting caught in this and drowning, we always took them up). Steel traps of course was totally different. We would either dig a hole about 3 inches deep or just lay on the ground, then set trap and lightly cover with leaves. Above trap was a piece of meat/fruit/etc. When the animal would come to get the food, it would rear up and grab the food then come down in trap. Animal would hit the plate in the trap and then trap was sprung, catching its leg( once i stuck a brook handle in one and it chopped the broom into). Then we came along then lets say I was either eating good or getting paid good (fur).
Now I know these thing because I done them. I hunt deer, still fish, and still do the crawfish nets. But all the things I've done, you could get hurt. Now to say that these thing will not work on a man is just plain foolish. If the man were a hunter, it would be hard to catch him. But a person who never been in the woods , it would be too easy.
Now to the game. There should be some traps that would work on anything. Then there are some traps that should work on just animals. And as a Master Ranger you should be allowed to make traps for what you wanted to catch.
Example: You have a Rogue Droid at 90m. You make a water trap. You throw water trap and hit him making him short circuit (movement hendered). Then you procede to kick its butt.
Right now, I don't know if I am going Ranger (I was going Squad Leader. But might lean toward Ranger). But I am going Master Scout and Master Pistoleer. From there I dont know.
I am have join the Rebellion. And think this is something we should be able to use.
