Thread: What does the healing rate mean?
I can only speculate at this point, but I believe that this healing rate is measured against the rate at which you would heal in a medical center. It would also affect the effectiveness of the medicines used in the camp.
However, I would like to hear a firm answer from some authority (ie a dev).
I don't be good with numbers but...lol
I put up my first high quality camp yesterday, and I don't know, but everyone seemed to heal really quick.
The bigger the number the better I would assume.
They really need to have a real good resource to look up all these modifying factors.
The .65, .85, etc is percentage based on Medical centers. IE at .85 the camp regens at 85% the speed of a medical center.
However, there is also a 5 minute delay once you enter the camp before the healing process kicks in. If oyou leave the camp and re-enter, the 5 minute counter restarts for you. This was added during beta to not only help out medics who lost tons of business to all the scouts out there, but also to fix an exploit where you could heal tons of wounds insanely fast by running in and out of a camp.
But yah, its percentage speed compared to the medical center. If oyou ahve under 10 wounds in all your pools, the time difference will be negligable on the higher camps, but if you have tons of wounds, it adds up pretty quick.
