I'm quite new to the Ranger profession as I only have Wayfaring II and Field Bioscience I at the moment. What I was wondering is what extra (if any)creature information can I find out about creatures by increasing my Field Bioscience skill? or does it just allow me to harvest more resources?

I think the only additional information was the number of resources you should be able to harvest and then the harvest bonus itself. I frequently see animals which examine at 12 hides and the harvest 15 - 17 hides.

Levels 2, 3, and 4 should add:
Special Move 1 : *****
Special Move 2 : *****
Base To-Hit : *****
Special Move 1 : *****
Special Move 2 : *****
Base To-Hit : *****

i have bioscience IV and there are a couplequestions i have:
1. Why don't any of the creature's special attacks show up? i have several pets that have stun, poison, etc... but that does not show up when i examine it. the special attack just says none for both 1 and 2.
2. What the hell is base to hit?!?!? how does this affect the creatures overall combat performance?
someone really needs to post a guide on what all the things in the examine window are and what they do.

1. It's probably bugged. lol.
2. Use their base-to-hit to judge their difficulty. Might be two critter, the same level, but one has .35 to hit and the other has .5 . Or something. You'll see which one might be an easier fight.
