im a bit confused on how to make traps with my factories. i guess im supposed to walk up to a general crafting station and use my generic crafting tool and i should see an option to make a factory schematic, but i dont.

where in the process should i see this option?

Seem like you are doing everything right. One thing, is the generic crafting tool the one you got as a n00b. Ifit is,you need to get a player made one....I think....I am geting old and I may be wrong.

you need a "weapon, droid, and general item crafting tool" and the corresponding crafting station.

That's it.....I knew it had something to do with the crafting tool

The option to make a draft schematic happens after you build the trap. A new option appears on the final menu before the item gets processed.

I use my factory to make all my Ranger gear. Its just nicer having all thoes crates of stuff in your inventory rather than abunch of traps and camps sitting out and takeing up space.
