Thread: what are the benifets of a Ranger?

i was wondering becuse it seems like an interesting profesion with a combat one to bsck it up.

  • You harvest more resources per kill than anyone else, but not necessarily more per hour.
  • You can find MOBs that're already loaded by the server within 500 meters of yourself.
  • You get to rant about decisions other people make with minimal consequences, but with a limited audience.
  • And you get to hang out here with us, the rodians, the bothans, the leezards, and the monkeys.

    That last one is really the best part, but to qualify for that you need to just know what RATGWNIWNU stands for.







    And no, I'm not telling. As a Ranger you need to know how to search!

    • those are your ingame benefits. and they aren't worth the skillpoints, for time invested to get them.


    you'd be better off doing some of scout, like trapping and hunting, and using everything else for combat.

    Just had to qualify that a bit. Also, Rangers are popular on Tantooine for the Hero of Tantooine quest, going out looking for lost and ornery mission NPCs.

    that's only 'cause our <lack of> combat skills of any form mean we mostly have to hide in the cantinas with the dancers.

    I have been training a new guild member, a dancer/pistoleer. With 3 or 4 other new guildies, and the one good thing about my HTFB is she can dance for us and give us entaineer buffs, while the others heal (take smoak breaks, tuck the kids in...rl stuff). Our HTFB's are nicer than most houses

    Only the bright pink will do!

    The Harvesting/Tracking is alot of fun and is great money. Thats all I have to say about that!
