After reading so much about Dweezel and Ruby Bliel, I started getting interested in what other types of food might be helpful for rangers, so last night I spent some time (lots of time..) sifting through all the food and drinks on the bazaar. I made a list for myself and thought I'd share itfor other new rangers and people like me who've just started playing SWG.
Now, keep in mind that the numbers I show are variable. You might find some better, some worse. When you're looking at buying crates of food, some things to keep in mind are the max stats of course, but also the number of items in the crate, the number of uses, and the duration of the buff.
That being said, here's a list of ranger-friendly foods.
Bivoli tempari: Buffing efficiency +20
Cavaellin creams: incap recov +110
Crispic: Melee +35, Range accuracy +40
Deuterium-pyro: Range accuracy +200 (this only last about 30-60 seconds)
Dweezel: Trapping +20
Gralinyn juice: Accuracy vs. creature +69
Kiwik: Health +314, Action reg +200, Mind reg +50
Muon gold: Healh 20%, Health regen 20%, Action reg -20%, Mind reg 20%
Ormacheck: XP bonus +5
Parwan nutricake: burst run time reduce 75%, cost reduce 111%
Ruby bliel: Stimpack roundtime 30
Starshine surprise: Incap recov 52
Terratta: Camouflage +19
Vegeparsine: Melee defense +100
Veghash: Creature harvesting +30
Are there any others that I might be missing? I know there are more that are similar to Kiwik, but that one seemed to be the best of them. And I know for those who are Melee combat types, I'm missing a bunch but I was mostly looking for range attack bonuses.

this makes me sad. A bonus more than4 times what a Master Ranger gets and anybody can get it. That's like offering a food that's +2000 defense to anyone who's not wearing armor (4x TKA defense bonus with CoB)

It's very important to keep Fill in mind as well so you don't end up with a lot of foods (and drinks)you can't use simultaneously.
Vasarian Brandyis good for hitting all 3 of your regen stats. Blob Candy is also good if you go through a lot of action, so my sword/Chef tends to use it more. Another really useful food is exo-protein wafers - they have low fill so you can usually pop one as needed to give you some damage mitigation when a fire fight goes awry. They don't last very long either but combat doesn't usually either.
Travel biscuits help terrain negotiation. Jawa Beer helps mask scent. I haven't tried using it with Terrata (which buffs camo), I'd suspect you can't use both but I dunno for sure.
Remember that you can't use more than one thing at a time, if they do the same effect - the more powerful will overwrite the smaller effect. Hence above if I were to drink Vasarian Brandy after eating Blob Candy, the candy is wasted. Just something to think about when you're buying. Alternatives aren't bad, necessarily but you have to figure out how to use them so as to make the most of things.
If you can afford it, watch for stuff made with the BE tissues, either for the buff, the duration or the fill, depending what works best for you too. They'll be just generally better, longer lasting or whatever than non-BE tissues stuff but it's expensive to make that way =/ Hence, why Ican't provide 'em in my stuff.
As an added note, some foods are bugged still - I believe Ormacheck is one of them.
