i found one post saying that a CL 81 will give around 300, so that is what i'm shooting for

300 is about average for lvl 80s. Get some veghash, as I believe that technically works to bring your harvesting higher. I'd say it could take.. oh, a couple hours I'd imagine. Its mainly just hard getting enough things to harvest all the time and waiting as you milk.

It took me about 1 hour to get 10k units from a mixture of level 80 and level 31 pickets, yesterday evening.

OH and one important thing. Remember to milk only the females. .... "Wait...That's not milk." lmao.

actually, I'm not sure if it's still like this, but I remember at some point you could double-milk the creatures. Milk them,then kill them, then type /harvest milk.

of course it was Calc who tried to double-milk a Nightsister. didn't work as far as I know.

nope, the necro-milking got removed a long while back. (Pub 10? 11? something like that)

I managed to get grouped, then head to the planet spawning the best milk available, endor it happened to be, and get two misisons for swirl prongs. They were about 500m apart, i would go milk the 4-5 prongs around one lair, then head to the other, and then back again. Over and over. Got over 31k in about 2 hours. Sold it for over 800k, made 400k/hour, not bad work. One quick point, if two creatures are both within 5-6 m of each other, you can try milking both simultaneously, saves on time.

If theres a regular Tatooine hunting spot on your server (for example, up in the NW Corner there is a city on Farstar thats always got groups going out from it), then milking on tatooine is insanely easy. Just get out before a group and milk their lairs before they get to them to kill the Ronto's and Banthas that are got as missions due to their anti-social behaviour (no red con ). I think my milking record is somewhere around 40k in 2 hours - there was literally a ring of banthas around the town.

Works well on Dant too, there is generally a ring of herds of pickets and lesser plains bols about 1K-1.5K outside of the MO. I generally don't make it all the way around in two hours, and can get 10-15K an hour.

And while you can't milk dead creatures, you can milk as many as you can reach at once, and you can milk while incapped.

Also, I have never noticed a significant change in milk yield while on veghash. I'm not saying there definately isn't a change, but it isn't outside of the normal variance, so I'm skeptical, especially since I can get the same amount of milk with my Jedi who has no scout skills, while camo'd. So, I'm pretty sure harvesting mods have no effect on milking, or egg gathering for that matter.
