Thread: Looking to Hire a Ranger! Paying in Rare Items!
Hi!
I'm Amrien Talfrey, a Novice Teras Kasi/Commando of the Radiant Server. For the past few... weeks... I have been hunting the infamous Altruism and Intellect camps, to no avail. I am looking to hire a Ranger to track for me. While not having much money wise to offer, I can offer an assortement of rare and uncommon items, to whoever might be willing to help.
Here's a small list of a few of the things I have.
- Several Locked Containers, (Perfect for your smuggling friend)
- Tons of the new disks, Order, Transmissions, etc.
- Full Sets of STILL WORKING Act I disk sets! (you help me get a badge, I'll help you)
Thanks again all!

Well, I'd help you if I was on your server but I can tell you from personal experience that a ranger does not guarantee success. But most rangers do make good company so it's more interesting than looking on your own. Also, if you are doing this for an FS slot, the person who unlocked one has said that they only had the two badges from act 1 and 2 (for the rebels). Check the Jedi boards for more information on that. But good luck in your search. There is a guide to tracking somewhere on this board (search for "making /areatrack work for you") that explains many of the limitations of /areatrack if you are interested.

Oh...
Well that saves me some time...
Nevermind then...
And yes I know they aren't for the FSCS slot, but that's not the point.
The point is I REALLY want badges, they offer me distinction, they are the one thing I can have that no Novice with 200k can.
Also, not to take the wind out of our sails... the camps don't spawn til you are close to them, so you can't use areatrack to find the NPCs in them until you are close enough to see them. By the time you can use /areatrack, you don't need to. Use control M and you will be able to find the camps.
