I'm working my way towards TKA (14k to go!) and I'm really liking it as a combat class to compliment the Ranger profession. I was very hesitant before, but I'm ready to give up all my pistol skill.

At unarmed 4, you get a nifty skill called Unarmedspin1. It does an AE attack on all mobs around you. I thought this would be a great skill but how would i agro many mobs all at once. Well, i found to my delight the Ikopi Lair Buffet. All I need to do is spam unarmedspin1 on a creature lair and all the creatures come rushing towards me. As I kill mobs and keep hitting the lair, more spawn to join the slaughter. Once everything is dead, i have a nice ring of dead animals around me ready for the harvest!

First time I did this out, I almost wet my pants.

As a brawler, I enjoyed the new skills as I moved up the unarmed route. But once I got TKA, boy did my world change. Now that I'm a novice Ranger, I need to harvest again. So, with the specials, I can kill dewbacks. It helps my combat points and my scouting points. It's a double whammy. TKA and Ranger are two very complimentary professions.

I would ace more squadrons if they'd just fix the remaster bug.

That is my favorite tactic on all low level lairs.

As fencer, I do that with 1h spin attack as well.

And point blank area 1(it's in ranged support or the markman carbine line, I forget) works just as well with a ranged weapon.

Yes, a very effective tactic on the low level mobs...I love the attacks that hit multiple targets. To that end I just started grinding Polarms (halfway through 4) on my way to Pikeman. I'm 2222TKA, planning to go master, but there is one Pikeman line that has knockdowns that work on MULTIPLE targets!!!

The possibilities for high level TKA attacks combined with an areat KD are ENDLESS! I'l let you all know how it goes when I get there...and if anyone else has tried it, let me know.
