Right now, on my server, the Nabooian Avian meat is actually pretty good stuff. So, I'm curious. I'm collecting Avian meat for another character, and I was wondering if there were any big hittin, high yield avian meat creatures on naboo. I spent about an hour outside of theed last night investigating. I found out that almost every animal outside of theed gives herbivore meat (which is also good for this character I'm gathering for), but it seems I could only find two animals anywhere near Theed that gave Avian Meat...Nunas and Peko Pekos. Peko Pekos around theed usually aren't in packs. You find one or two max, that doesn't help me much. And having to run nuna missions to get 100 total units of meat out of an entire lair seems a bit excessive.

So, I was wondering...what other creatures on naboo give Avian Meat? Where can I find the big hitting, high yield Avian Meat creatures on naboo?

I've also noted the quality of the avian meat lately. Since pekos are a pain, I've been working over the kaadu - males usually drop between 15-20 units each and females around 12. They're not big, but lairs often spawn about 10 or more critters, so I sometimes walk away with a couple of hundred units per lair.

If you can get a group together or a really good pet, try looking for giant pekos, the yield on those is fantastic.

Peko Peko Albatross' are the biggest avian meatharvests on Naboo, something upwards of 600 units if I remember correctly. After that would be Giant Peko Peko's then Peko Peko's followed by a number of smaller creatures such as Kaadu's and Nuuna's.

Peko peko albatrosses are far too rare to consider them for meat hunting, though they do drop a bunch of it. Your better bet is to get giant peko peko missions. There will be 6 giant peko peko's per lair (in pairs of 2). Two will be there when you arrive, two will spawn when the lair is 1/3 damaged and the last 2 spawn when the lair is 2/3 damaged. Each one drops 60+ avian meats so that's 360-400 per lair or 720-800 oer trip out into the countryside.

BTW, don't do this on Corbantis as the Naboo avian there shifted on Sunday night (11/9) and has about 100 OQ.

I'll definitely look for Kaadus. I couldn't find any last night, but there are usually quite a few around.

My big question is this...what kind of weapon do I need equipped or what kind of pet grouped to get the Giant Peko Peko missions? I should be able to solo them with my Graul Mauler (well at least until the CH nerf hits which should be well after this current meat shifts).

I am currently a 0020 Pistoleer very close to 0030, I have a DX2 equipped, and can group with my CL35 Graul Mauler pushing my mission level choice WAY UP. So, I hope to be able to get 'em.

Last time I checked, I believe Spineflaps and Flewts provided Insect Meat.

• Though I do know that the Flewt Queen provides Avian Meat, which is totally inconsistent with the other Flewt varieties.
