I read the entire SOTP and agreed with a majority of what's being presented. I love being a ranger so I'm not worried on some things (1 H/M/B harvest, maskscent breaking a few times, etc).

Some more possible ideas (here rather than my other post):

Poison kits that can be built out of foraged items only available to ranger, made out of hide/bone/meat/foraged items. Depending on quality of items used combined for an average, you might get more than a minimal amount of use (5 uses instead of 3, example) or if it's really good effectiveness, it really pumps up the damage. Could be random HAM affect. Perhaps be applied to melee weapons of any kind for a short (30 seconds?) duration.

"Poison kits that can be built out of foraged items only available to ranger"

- This has been suggested before, and has been added to the newest list available via my signature.

Can someone try to push the Devs into making Camo kits VISUAL? Kind of ruins the fun without the flora and all that good stuff not being visibly worn..

"Can someone try to push the Devs into making Camo kits VISUAL?"

-There are several ideas in that regards.

- I really like the idea of the ghillie suit created from combining a camo kit with a tailor made overcoat.

- The other is grease paint, or a similiar idea.

- Since it is not a high priority, I'm doubtful it will be added anytime soon.

- However since it is the Art Department that would be doing most of the work and not GreenMarine himself, anything is possible.

This is really minor detail but you know what would be really cool? Notice that there is a chess table in our high tech field base? It would be greatifyoucould sitdown with another playerand play chess against an him/her or with an AI like they did in the star wars movies. sure gives us something to do while we're waiting forfellow mates to make it to where we are after they've been sent to the cloning facilityor whileeveryone is healing.

I just got the feild base camp and notice the second I enter combat that i disbands. This needs to be addresses considering the cost of these new camps. I would like to be able to hunt out of them like we have from the smaller camps.

"It's not chess buddy, know your Star Wars, its sabacc "

- Actually Sabacc is a different Star Wars game, played with cards in casinos.

"put the HAM bar number in the inspect window"

- Good idea. Since we can already get the number via another method, I don't see why it shouldn't be in the /examine window as well.

I went to the rancor cave on Dathomir last night. Only 1 meat, boneor hide was harvested per kill - that's a lot of resources we lost out on. I'm sure any scouts and novice rangers present were pleased with the scouting experience, but it made for a rather frustrating experience. Other than that (and apparently the pet bug that still remains - do they ever test?) I am happy with the way things turned out on harvests and want to thank both Nraas and Delta for getting it fixed.

I forgot to test turning off conceal yesterday as I was on Lok and Dathomir and have no conceal kits for either (Lok domesticated meat anyone?).

Can't build campsnear lairs - some creatures/NPCs spawn without visible lairs and don't show up on radar. Is this intended? Is there any way we could either remove that sort of lair from the list of places we can't camp or have it show up on radar?

Off topic (sue me)

I've heard people talk about playing gambling in the cantinas but haven't found a way to do that. It would really be nice to play that chess-like game from the original Star Wars (and greatest movie of all time) in our camp.

Anyone have an idea how many unique fish there are? I've caught 7 so far (my PA is trying to make an aquarium like shown in these threads) and they give decent survival experience (80-120 per fish) rivaling camping if you are lucky. I don't know if success at fishing is related to survival skill but I am distinctly better at it now that I was last time I fished.

"Is there any way we could either remove that sort of lair from the list of places we can't camp or have it show up on radar?"

- I wouldn't think you would want to deploy a camp near one of the hidden spawn points anyways.

- Isn't that just asking for some beast to spawn right on top of the campsite?

"It would really be nice to play that chess-like game from the original Star Wars (and greatest movie of all time) in our camp."

- Yes someone else suggested being able to play Dejarik (holochess) in the High Tech Field Base.

All to often rangers will solo on planets like Endor or Dathomir, and sometimes doctors are just nottoo happy about following rangers into places like that just keep the ranger alive.... I know this might make us a little more self-sufficient, but that what's we are suppose to be somewhat.

I have to respectfully disagree. While poison medpacks might make us more self-sufficient, it would make doctors irrelevant. If you don't want to get poisoned, use your ranger skills to examine the creature from a distance. It will tell you if it can poison you. If so, throw on a camo kit and go around it.

Otherwise, you'll see posts in the doctor forum saying "Why should I have to have a ranger with me when I'm trying to locate avian meat for my meds? If you give us doctors the areatrack skills, we'll be more self-sufficent."
